بدینوسیله به اطلاع اهالی ادبیات کشور عزیزمان افغانستان می‌رسانیم:
همان گونه که اطلاع دارید، چهارمین دور جایزه‌ی ادبی اکرم عثمان از دسمبر ۲۰۲۳آغاز گردید و تا پایان مهلت ارسال آثار که آخر ماه جنوری ۲۰۲۴ بود، تعداد کثیری از نویسنده گان باسابقه و تازه‌کار با ارسال داستان‌های کوتاه خود از برگزاری چهارمین دور جایزه‌ی ادبی اکرم عثمان استقبال کردند.
در مجموع ۱۳۷ داستان فارسی و ۶۲ داستان پشتو را دریافت کردیم. کارشناسان ادبی و هیئت داوران مرحله‌ی اول در هر دو بخش فارسی و پشتو، پس از بررسی‌های نقادانه و موشکافانه داستان‌های برتر این جایزه را برگزیدند.
ضمن عرض تبریک به نویسنده گان داستان‌های برتر، یادآور می شوییم که آثار شان برای داوران مرحله‌ی نهایی فرستاده شده است تا از میان آن‌ها سه بهترین را انتخاب کنند. آن سه داستان منتخب، برنده گان این دور جایزه‌ی ادبی اکرم عثمان خواهند بود و به آن‌ها تندیس، جایزه نقدی، مجموعه ی داستان های برگزیده و لوح تقدیر اهدا می شود.
۲۵ داستان برتر فارسی و ۱۵ داستان برتر پشتو در چهارمین جایزه‌ی اکرم عثمان قرار ذیل هستند:
